Started as a single restaurant in Vile Parle, a suburb of Mumbai, close to the Mumbai's domestic & international airports, Gajalee (literally, "an informal gathering" in Malvani & Konkani) is now an international chain of seven restaurants based in Mumbai, Mangalore & Singapore. Each restaurant provides a rich & unique course of coastal cuisine, prepared by expert chefs, who are true masters in their craft. In fact, some of the culinary innovations at Gajalee have gone on to become household names including the Bombil Fry (Bombay Duck), the Clam Koshimbir & the Prawns Pickle. Though Gajalee is virtually synonymous with sea-food, we provide a fair bit of variety in Maharashtrian style of chicken, mutton and vegetarian food. Each of our restaurants operates on a strict code of hygiene and quality in daily fresh food procurement as well as in the kitchen preparation.
